Hestia Companions Ltd operates an introductory platform connecting families seeking non-medical companionship with vetted local companions across Cambridge. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Hestia acts solely as an introducer and technology platform. We are not an employer, care agency, or care provider. Companions operate as independent, self-employed individuals. Any agreement for companionship services is directly between the family and the companion. Hestia does not provide regulated personal care (such as medical care, bathing, or medication administration).
Users must provide accurate profile details, treat companions and families with dignity and respect, and comply with all applicable UK laws. Misuse of the platform, harassment, or attempt to book or provide regulated personal care through Hestia is strictly prohibited.
Families pay transparent hourly rates set on the platform. Payments are processed securely via Stripe Connect. Companions receive 80% of the booking total, deposited directly into their verified bank account every Friday. Hestia retains a 20% platform fee to cover safety verification, insurance cover, platform maintenance, and ongoing support.
We may update these terms periodically to reflect platform updates or legal requirements. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
